A leading company in handcrafted fresh fruit bouquets is arranging to set up shop in Glen Oaks.
Edible Arrangements — with eight other locations in Queens, scattered from Bayside to Howard Beach — will call Glen Oaks home by December of this year, officials expect, although they said they are still scouring the area for the right location.
The fresh fruit franchise that began in 1999 now has more than 1,128 stores in 14 countries around the world. The new northeast Queens store will be owned and operated by Tricia Dhanraj.
“Everyone I have told about this new business venture has been excited to learn that a store is coming, and I look forward to serving the community with the great products that Edible Arrangements has to offer,” Dhanraj said. “I know that this is right franchise business for me and more so for the area.”
