Rock Group to Play Juniper Park Aug. 21

Midville Man Leads ‘Generations’

The Juniper Valley Park Concert Series will be extended by a week as the classic rock sounds of Generations will take the stage at the Middle Village park on Tuesday night, Aug. 21, it was announced by the Juniper Park Civic Association (JPCA).

The rock group Generations, led by Middle Village’s Lenny Musso, will hold a free concert at Juniper Valley Park on Aug. 21.

Led by Middle Village native Lenny Musso, Generations boasts a group of accomplished musicians and singers performing favorite rock, pop and R&B tunes from the 1960s to the present. They are regular performers on the Long Island Nautical Mile in Freeport, on the deck in East Rockaway, at Captree State Park and at Jones and Cedar beaches.

All are invited to take part in the free concert, which will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug. 21 at the softball field located off the corner of 80th Street and Juniper Boulevard North. Guests are advised to bring their own lawn chairs.

The concert is presented by the JPCA and the city’s Parks Department with the sponsorship of Sclafmore Construction and Nationwide Insurance.
