City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer recently met with children in the New York Junior Tennis League and played a few sets at Dutch Kills Park in Long Island City. As noted, Van Bramer supported an $800,000 allocation by the City Council for the league, which provides youngsters with the chance to play tennis during the summer months. Van Bramer is shown in this photo along with Program Coordinator Hayden Pilgrim and parents and children at the tennis courts of I.S. 204.
