A fire at a house in Ridgewood left three children seriously hurt and four firefighters with minor injuries, said the FDNY.
Around 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, authorities responded to a fire on 66th Street. According to WABC, three boys, ages 9, 11 and 16, jumped from a third-story window to escape the blaze and put on stretchers with neck braces.
The three children were transported to Elmhurst Hospital with serious but non-life threatening conditions, said the FDNY. Four firefighters were taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center with minor injuries.
The cause of the fire was electrical and deemed accidental, according to the FDNY.
