Cops search for man who stole from Walgreens

FLUSHING — The NYPD was asking for the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection with stealing Diabetic test strips from a Walgreens Pharmacy.

Police said the suspect entered the pharmacy, at 44-15 Kissena Blvd., around 3:30 p.m. Sept. 11 and stole 16 boxes of test strips.

He is described as a black male standing 5-foot-11 tall and weighing 180 pounds, said police, and was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, black pants and glasses.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
