MARIA T. FERNANDEZ died on Sunday, August 26, at the age of 63. She was the beloved wife of David P. Fernandez, loving mother of Sandra Durana and David A. Fernandez, mother-in-law of Gonzalo, cherished grandmother of Damian, Stephanie, Vanessa and Christian, devoted daughter of Manuel Vergara and dear sister of Gladys Telleria, Alfredo Vergara, Marcella Guerra and Eddy Vergara. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Thursday, August 30, at Our Lady of Fatima Church, East Elmhurst, followed by cremation at All Souls Crematory, East Elmhurst, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.
