Sunnyside Chamber Sworn In for Duty

The new president and ranking members of the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce were installed for duty by City Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer at their meeting on the evening of Sept. 11 at Dazies’ Restaurant. Following a moment of silence for those who died in the terrorist attacks on that date 11 years earlier, Van Bramer (top photo, at left) administered the oath of office to the chamber’s new president, Swain Weiner. Also installed for duty at the event, as shown in the bottom photo, were board members Marie Konecko (at left) and Anne Sheehan.
