In between a few storms, residents enjoyed games, rides, food, vendors and a host of other activities held at street fairs across Woodside, Richmond Hill and Ridgewood last weekend. With the 7 train tracks providing a backdrop, Woodside Avenue was packed with vendors and residents during the annual Woodside On The Move Street Festival last Saturday, Sept. 8. As shown in the center left photo, patrons at the Richmond Hill Block Association’s annual Park Fair last Saturday had an Incredible time, as inflatable castles and slides set up shop at Myrtle Avenue and Park Lane South, by Forest Park. Residents of all ages came out for the 17th annual Fresh Pond Road Street Festival, held on the Ridgewood roadway between Menahan and Woodbine streets from Thursday, Sept. 6 to Sunday, Sept. 9. The fair was sponsored by the Federazione Italo-Americana di Brooklyn and Queens.
