P.O. Salvatore Alongi was honored as the 102nd Precinct Community Council’s Cop of the Month at the group’s Tuesday, Oct. 16 meeting at the Richmond Hill library. Alongi was honored for arresting two men for marijuana possession after a routine traffic stop on Aug. 20; a handgun was later found inside the vehicle.
