Meeting This Wed. In Middle Village
Forming the capital and expense budget priorities for the 2014 fiscal year and plans for the renovation of a playground in Glendale will take center stage at the next meeting of Community Board 5 on Wednesday night, Oct. 10, in Middle Village.
As announced by District Manager Gary Giordano, the session will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Christ the King Regional High School, located at 68-02 Metropolitan Ave.
Among the items on the agenda are the official formation of Board 5’s list of capital and expense budget items to be submitted to the City of New York in planning the budget for the 2014 fiscal year, which begins next July.
Members of the board’s Parks Services Committee will also put forth for a vote their recommendations regarding the proposed reconstruction of half of the children’s playground at Evergreen Park in Glendale.
Also on the agenda are reports by Chairperson Vincent Arcuri and District Manager Giordano, a public forum and reports by various committees.
