A pair of lucky lotto players will be splitting the record $580 million Powerball jackpot.

Two tickets, one each in Arizona and Missouri, were sold with each of the winning numbers drawn Wednesday night —  5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and  the Powerball 6.

Powerball is offered in 42 states, Washington D.C. and the US Virgin Islands.

New Yorkers were shut out of the top prize and the $2 million Match 5 winnings, but some lucky locals did hit the $1 million Match 5.

As the record jackpot grew, Powerball ticket sales jumped six-fold, according to lottery officials.

“I work at 7-11. A lot of people have been coming in to buy Powerball, about five times more than usual” Bayside-resident Gary said yesterday.

This will mark the second-largest lotto pay-off in U.S. history.  In March, Mega Millions awarded a $656 million prize.

For players that want to try their luck again, the next drawing is Saturday, the jackpot is $40 million.
