FOREST HILLS — Police were seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery of an HSBC Bank.
Authorities said the suspect walked into the bank, at 137-61 Queens Blvd., just before 11 a.m. Oct. 19 brandishing a metal pipe he had concealed in a newspaper as he passed a note demanding money.
The suspect, described as a black man in his 30s with a slim build and wearing a New York Yankees hat and dark jacket, then made off with an unknown amount of loot.
