Suspect in city case caught in Spain: Cops

OZONE PARK — Cops said a man, wanted in connection with a 2005 hit-and-run, was arrested in Spain Friday.

Police said Bartolo Paula, 56, was arrested and extradited to the city, where he was charged with manslaughter in the death of a 15-year-old boy in Ozone Park.

According to police, Paula was driving on 101st Street and attempted to make a right turn on Rockaway Boulevard when he struck the victim, who later died at Jamaica Hospital.
