Two suspects wanted in connection with a Corona slashing, are now wanted for a second assault that occurred the same morning just blocks away.
The first attack took place when the suspects approached a 70-year-old man and asked him if he was Muslim or Hindu before proceeding to assault him, according to police.
Both assaults occurred minutes apart on Sunday, November 24 at approximately 5:20 a.m. It is uncertain which attack happened first.
Just five blocks away, on 104th Street in Corona, the pair approached a 21-year-old man and asked him for direction to Roosevelt Avenue, and then attacked him, police said. The victim sustained minor cuts to his thumb and face.
Police described the suspects as Hispanic men in their late teens or early 20s with dark hair.
