Bwg Groups Score Big In Futsal

On Sunday, Jan 6, the Gottschee 98s organized an in house futsal tournament for the 98, 97, and 96 age groups. As noted, futsal is a variation of soccer played indoors. Participation and support from within the club was excellent as an eight-team field competed in two groups for a chance to play in the final. The 98 group Liverpool, captained by Kevin Lozada, held off some stiff competition to be crowned futsal champions of the club. Team members are shown above.
