News Car Slams Into Store After Rego Pk. Three people were injured after a two-car collision in Rego Park on Sunday night, Dec. 30, 2012 in which one of the vehicles involved crashed into a nearby department store entrance, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the accident occurred at around 8:15 p.m. at the corner of Queens Boulevard and 63rd Drive, adjacent to the Marshalls store. Among the units that responded to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 287, 324 and 289; Ladder companies 136 and 138; Squad Co. 288; Rescue 4; Battalion 46; the 112th Precinct; NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10 and EMS units. The victims were brought by paramedics to local hospitals for treatment of injuries not considered to be life-threatening.
