SOUTH RICHMOND HILL — Authorities said a robbery last month in a South Richmond Hill cell phone store can be traced to three earlier robberies of Radio Shack stores in South Richmond Hill and Brooklyn.
Two black men, one carrying a gun, allegedly entered the cellphone store on 120th Street near 91st Avenue Dec. 21 at 3:12 p.m. and tied up a woman there with zip ties, police said. The men then took some money and cellphones from the store before running away, police said.
The suspects in this crime have been tied to an Oct. 28 robbery at 110 Montague St. in Brooklyn, a Nov. 7 robbery at 1412 Rockaway Pkwy. in Brooklyn and a Nov. 11 robbery at Liberty Avenue and 113th Street in South Richmond Hill, police said.
In the previous robberies, the suspects were described as three black men about 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9 and 20- to 25-years-old, police said.
