There were no reported injuries after a small fire broke out inside the kitchen of a Middle Village home last Thursday afternoon, Dec. 27, 2012, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the fire ignited at around noon at the residence located on 77th Street near Penelope Avenue. Among the units that responded to the scene (in numerical order) were Engine companies 286, 287 and 291; Squad Co. 288; Ladder companies 135 and 136; Battalion 46; the 104th Precinct and EMS units.
