Man Wanted for Forest Hills Arson

Threw Lighter Fluid At House Walls

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying and apprehending a suspect wanted in connection with the arson of a Forest Hills residence on Friday, Jan. 18.

According to police sources, the suspect approached a Forest Hills residence at about 1 a.m., lit a 5-oz. lighter fluid container and threw it onto the north side of the house wall, causing charring to the wall.

The fire extinguished itself and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male with a slim build, wearing a dark hat, light colored jacket and pants.
