Two men wanted for gunpoint robbery in Long Island City

The police are looking for two men who were caught on video stealing cash and other valuables in the Long Island City area.

According to authorities, on Sunday, January 6, at approximately 1:50 a.m. the suspects entered 21-54 45th Avenue, where seven people were inside. Displaying a firearm, they demanded property and fled with cash, jewelry and cell phones.

The victims were not injured during the incident.

Suspect 1 is described as a black male, 45 to 50 years old, 5’8″ tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, a gray knit hat and eyeglasses.

Suspect 1 is described as a black male, 27 to 33 years old, 5’9″ tall and 230 to 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.
