Teen Found Slain In Bushwick Apt.

Cops Continue To Seek Suspects

Detectives are continuing to investigate the death of a 19-year-old Bushwick teenager who was found fatally stabbed in a neighborhood apartment house last Thursday afternoon, Feb. 7, police reported.

The victim was identified by the NYPD as Jonathan Lazu of Madison Street.

Lazu’s body, which had been stabbed multiple times, was found by police at a residence on Suydam Street near Wilson Avenue at around 2:05 p.m. last Thursday.

Officers from the 83rd Precinct responded to the scene along with EMS units, who pronounced Lazu dead at the scene.

Police canvassed the surrounding area for clues and a suspect, but despite their efforts, no immediate arrests were made, law enforcement sources said. The 83rd Precinct Detective Squad is conducting the investigation.
