Police are investigating the death of a 10-year-old boy whose body was found inside a tub in his Woodside apartment last Thursday afternoon, Jan. 31, it was reported.
He was identified by law enforcement sources as Farhan Talukder of Queens Boulevard.
Talukder was found unconscious in the bathtub inside the fifth-floor apartment where he resided on Queens Boulevard near 60th Street at around 5:27 p.m. last Thursday.
Members of the 108th Precinct and EMS units responded to the scene.
Paramedics rushed the child to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Talukder’s body was transferred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
No charges have been filed, and the investigation by the 108th Precinct Detective Squad is ongoing, police said.
