HOLLIS — Police were asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect wanted in connection to two robberies in southeast Queens.
According to the NYPD, an armed suspect walked into a bodega, at 114-01 Colfax St., at about 1:40 p.m. March 9 hit a deli employee in the head and demanded money.
The suspect then fled with an unknown amount of money, police said.
The NYPD said a second incident happened March 11 around 7:45 p.m. when the suspect, armed with a gun, entered the deli, at 205-19 Hollis Ave., struck an employee in the head with his gun and demanded money. The suspect then left with an unknown amount of money, police said.
The suspect is described as a black man in his 20s, standing about 5-foot-8.
