Crook Groped Girl In F. Hills Robbery

Police have released the sketch of a man wanted for robbing and groping a 14-year-old girl inside a Forest Hills building last Thursday, Apr. 18. Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred at 3:40 p.m. in the vicinity of Union Turnpike and Queens Boulevard. According to authorities, the perpetrator followed the girl into an elevator, where he demanded her phone, money and jewelry. The thief reportedly searched the girl for property, groping her in the process. Moments later, police noted, he fled from the scene with the victim’s cell phone. The incident was later reported to the 112th Precinct. Police described the suspect as a black male in his 30s, standing 6’3″-tall, weighing 180 lbs and wearing a bright red hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a dark colored backpack.
