Middle Village Students Go West to Hollywood

Members of Christ the King High School’s performing arts classes and clubs recently took a six-day trip to Hollywood, Calif. under the leadership of the Middle Village school’s theatre arts department. As noted, the students and faculty members visited a host of landmark locations including Grumman’s Chinese Theatre, Santa Monica Pier, Universal, Sony and Warner Bros. Studios and the Getty Museum. The students also took part in a drama and makeup workshop and an improv comedy show. Christ the King students are shown in front of part of the Berlin Wall, which was erected 20 years after its fall along Wilshire Boulevard.
