New York Hospital Queens is hosting its third annual Palliative Care Symposium.
On April 9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Division of Geriatrics & Palliative Care Medicine and Patient Care Services will present a program whose purpose is to better the communication skills of health care professionals.
The program aims to teach how to communicate with patients who have life-threatening illnesses and their families through a series of workshops.
This seminar will take place at NYHQ’s Theresa and Eugene M. Lang Center for Research and Education, at 56-45 Main St. in Flushing.
