Firefighters quickly extinguished a one-alarm fire that broke out on the upper floors of an apartment house in Bushwick last Wednesday, Apr. 3, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the blaze ignited at around 6:15 p.m. in the rear of a second-floor apartment on Noll Street near Flushing Avenue. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were Engine companies 237, 218, 271 and 277; Ladder companies 124, 112 and 108; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 2 and Battalions 37 and 35-under the direction of Division 11-along with the 83rd Precinct and EMS units. One hose line was used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
