Woodside Scouts Meet the Mets

Earlier this month, the members of Cub Scout Pack 390 in Woodside and their den mothers took part in “Scout Day at Citi Field” prior to a New York Mets game against the Miami Marlins. As shown, the young scouts took part in a parade around the Citi Field warning track before the first pitch was thrown. They also showed off their Pinewood Derby cars during a race against peers from other scout troops inside the Mets’ dugout. Pack 390 is sponsored by St. Teresa’s Church and the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813, both located in Woodside.
