A 14-year-old girl was shot in the head and killed aboard a Queens bus Saturday night, said police.
The teen, identified as D’aja Robinson, was on the Q6 bus at Sutphin Boulevard near Rockaway Boulevard in Jamaica around 9 p.m. when she was struck.
Robinson was part of a group that had recently left a sweet 16 party and had just boarded the bus when the shooting occurred, according to published reports. A man from the street allegedly fired around 9 shots at the bus.
NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly said police are looking for a suspect between the ages of 18 and 25 who was last seen wearing a black sweater, according to reports.
