Businesses Meet Agencies In Corona

El Paraiso Tropical Dining Hall in Corona was jam-packed on Apr. 24 with workshop leaders, PowerPoint demonstrations and bank information as part of the first ever Small Business Resource Workshop. Hosted by the Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC) and the Corona Community Action Network (CAN), the six-hour event brought together such diverse businesses as RCN of New York, Chase Bank, Health First, the 82nd Street Partnership and NYC Business Solutions. Feedback was positive, and QEDC and Corona CAN have decided to organize more interactive events for entrepreneurs and business owners in the area.
