FRANCIS A. KIMPEL died on Friday, May 17, at his home in Ocean
Pines, Md. at the age of 81. Raised in
Glendale, he was the son of the late
Alfred B. Kimpel and Barbara
Urschel. Francis is survived by his
wife Gunvor (Mary) Kimpel; four
children, Barbara Kimpel and her
partner Karel Cauchon and Dr. Beverly Kimpel and her partner Cynthia
Skolfield, Francis Kimpel Jr. and his
wife Donna and David Kimpel and
his wife Kimberly; and three brothers; Henry Kimpel and his wife
Jeanne, Alfred Kimpel and Sigurd
Kimpel and his wife Helen. He is also
missed by his seven grandchildren,
Michael, Adam, Seth, Isaiah,
Brianna, Lauren and Lily, four great
grandchildren and his honorary
brother Paul Hexter and his wife
Aricelli.
A graduate of Brooklyn Polytechnical Institute, Francis was a U.S.
Navy veteran specializing in communications and became an engineer for
York International. Twenty-five years
ago, Francis retired to the Eastern
Shore of Maryland, where he enjoyed
sailing, playing piano and bridge,
using his ham radio and gardening.
Francis also took pride in being a
member of the Community Church
of Ocean Pines Choir and planning
board as well as being a Mason.
A memorial service will be held
tomorrow, Friday, May 31, 2013 at 1
p.m. at the Community Church at
Ocean Pines. Pastor William Sterling
will officiate. Interment will be at a
later date in York, Pa..

MICHAEL FREDERICK WACHSMUTH
died on Saturday, May 25, at the age
of 30. He was the beloved son of
Susan and Robert, loving brother of
Robert and brother-in-law of Cynthia
and cherished grandson of Betty
Wachsmuth. He is also survived by
many aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends. He was employed as an electrician for IBEW Local 3. A Mass of
