HOLLIS — A Hollis woman known as the “Sweetheart Swindler” was sentenced Wednesday to one year to three years in prison on charges she jumped bail in 2007, the district attorney said. She will serve the sentence consecutively with hard time accrued from another case.

Natasha Munchkin Marks, 26, pleaded guilty in 2007 to defrauding a Howard Beach man of more than $800,000, but then skipped town before she was sentenced and went on the lam for six years, according to the DA Richard Brown.

Munchkin Marks was sentenced to two to six years behind bars in absentia and was finally nabbed in Oklahoma last month, the DA said. Munchkin Marks was then brought back to Queens and charged with jumping bail, the DA said.

“There is truth to the saying that ‘justice is patient,’ as which this case can attest,” Brown said in a statement.
