Blaze Breaks Out at L.i.c. Power Plant

Twenty firefighters had to be decontaminated as a precautionary measure after fighting a fire at a Long Island City power plant last Wednesday, May 29, FDNY sources said. The blaze reportedly broke out at the Ravenswood generating station on Vernon Boulevard near 38th Avenue.
