Prior to the start of the Ridgewood-Glendale Memorial Day Parade last Monday, May 27, participants got a chance to view an exhibit created by the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society (GRHS) to mark the march’s 75th anniversary. As shown, the exhibit included classic photos and documents of parades gone by. Pictured standing in front of the exhibit are (from left to right) Paul Schottenhamel of the Allied Veterans of Ridgewood and Glendale, which organized the parade; GRHS board members Steve Monte, Maryellen Borello and Virginia Comber; and Richard Asbell, curator of the exhibit.
