ASTORIA — Two men posing as electricians ripped off a 79-year-old woman who let them into her Astoria home, police said.
The pair told the woman they needed to check her electricity Aug. 1 at about 1 p.m. While one man looked over the electrical outlets, the other pocketed cash and jewelry before the duo fled, according to the NYPD.
The men are described as white — one in his 40s and the other about 25 — and drove off in a silver Volkswagen.
