Cops looking for bike-riding groper in Astoria

Police are searching for a man who allegedly rode by on his bicycle and grabbed a woman’s buttocks in Astoria.

The 24-year-old victim was at the corner of 24th Avenue and Crescent Street around 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, when the suspect, while on his bike, approached her from behind and touched her buttocks, said cops. He then fled the scene on the bicycle.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 20 to 30 years old, of medium build, 5’6″ to 5’10”, with long curly Mohawk-style hair shaved on the sides. He was wearing a dark jacket with a red stripe on the sleeves, and blue jeans. His bicycle is silver with a metal basket attached to the rear.
