A Florida man died Wednesday while riding his motorcycle on 39th Street in Long Island City after he collided with another vehicle, the Police Department said.
Eugene O’Donnell, 53, was traveling south on 39th Street near Queens Boulevard around 3:40 p.m. when his motorcycle ran into a Jeep Liberty going in the other direction, cops said. He was pronounced dead soon after at Elmhurst Hospital, according to the NYPD.
Police said an investigation was ongoing, but they did not suspect any criminal misconduct.
