Detective in 112th Pct. hit with assault charge: Police

FOREST HILLS — An off-duty NYPD detective was charged with assault, according to police.

Luis Mortimer, 37, was arrested about 12:48 a.m. Monday within the confines of the 112th Precinct, which encompasses Forest Hills and Rego Park, police said.
