An Astoria boutique plans to celebrate the season by helping animal owners find out what their four-legged creatures are really thinking.

The Jumping Bulldog, 28-10 23rd Ave., will play host to a visit by pet psychic, healer and medium Lee Ann LaRocca and animal communicator Ann Marie Caridi Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is geared to customers who RSVP in advance, and the cost is $15 for a 15-minute reading, with part of the day’s proceeds slated to go to Pets Alive animal sanctuary in Middletown, N.Y., and Heavenly Angels Animal Rescue in Ozone Park, the shop’s owner Tania Firrigno said while ringing up customers on Small Business Saturday.

Firrigno who opened up the boutique six years ago said much of the store’s business comes from frequent shoppers. The Jumping Bulldog specializes in holistic food and treats as well as fetching ensembles for furry friends and high-end toys.

“We have an extremely loyal clientele,” she said.

Saturday’s frosty weather also didn’t help increase foot traffic, she believed.

“It’s freezing,” she joked. “I don’t want to go outside to support somebody just because I can save 10 percent.”

To take part in the annual shopping promotion begun by American Express in 2010 to encourage consumers to support small businesses, Firrigno offered 10 percent off everything in the shop, with a few exceptions like grooming services, and a free gift for every purchase over $25.

“It’s like a regular Saturday,” she said during the afternoon. “But the day is not over yet.”
