Police seek two in connection to Astoria shooting

Two suspects walked up to a man in Astoria Monday and shot him before running away, cops said.

The 37-year-old victim was standing on Steinway Street, near 35th Avenue, about 3:30 a.m. when the suspects approached him, then fired, striking him in the ankle, according to police. They then fled on foot.

The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment, cops said.

Police have released surveillance video of the suspects.
