Dear Editor:
What is going on with our U.S. mail in Ridgewood? And don’t tell me it’s all about the storm!
One day mail; the next day, no mail. Sometimes in day time, and sometimes we get a night delivery. Most times a substitute makes the delivery.
If you’re lucky, you may get your mail in your mail box and if you’re not lucky, you’ll find it on the floor in your vestibule.
Come on, U.S. Post Office- wake up! We just got our stamp prices raised. Get yourself together.
Our block doesn’t even have a regular mail man.
Now it’s tax time. Forms are being sent out. Important papers are being sent to us. There are also missing bills and missing checks. Where is it all going?
There was a time when I was little and my father would sing a song about “Neither rain nor sleet would delay your mail.” What a laugh!
Managers, wake up. Please!
