Meng To Hold Public Event At Glendale Library
Rep. Grace Meng announced that her next “Congress on Your Corner” event will be this Tuesday, Feb. 18, in Glendale.
The event will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Glendale branch of the Queens Library, located at 78-60 73rd Pl.
The event will once again provide constituents with the chance to meet one-on-one with their congresswoman to discuss whatever is on their mind including any issues, concerns or problems they may be experiencing with the federal government.
All who live in Meng’s Sixth Congressional District are welcome and no appointment is necessary.
“Being accessible to my constituents continues to be among my top priories,” said Meng. “I look forward to discussing the issues and concerns that are important to them, and I encourage all local residents to attend.”
Talking with the congresswoman will be on a first come, first served basis. Community Board 5 District Manager Gary Giordano will be on hand for a portion of the event.
Meng’s previous “Congress on Your Corner” events were held at Queens libraries in Middle Village, Fresh Meadows, Pomonok/Electchester and Bayside.
The Sixth Congressional District of New York encompasses west, central and northeast Queens.
