SUNNYSIDE — Police seized a cache of guns, bullets, crack and pills when raiding a Sunnyside man’s home Tuesday, the NYPD said.
Officers arrested Daniel Tone after officers found two revolvers, a .9 mm semiautomatic Glock, a .22 High Standard Semi-Automatic gun, three imitation pistols, 169 rounds of ammunition, $3,124 in cash, seven marijuana plants, about 17.5 grams of crack, 136 Hydromorphone pills and 48 Xanax pills in his home on 44th Street, the Police Department said.
Tone, 42, was slapped with charges of criminal possession of weapon charges, criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to cops. He also was charged with strangulation from a domestic dispute in August 2012, the NYPD said.
Police said Tone has previously been charged with driving while intoxicated, domestic assault, criminal possession of a weapon and assault.
