SUNNYSIDE – Police were seeking help in locating an 80-year-old woman from Sunnyside who was reported missing March 10, the NYPD said. Ortansa Tornescu was last seen at 47-11 Queens Blvd., which several blocks from where she lives, according to cops.
She was described by authorities as 5-foot-2 and 110 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. She is missing her left thumb, police said.
Tournescu was last seen wearing a green peacoat, a gray skirt and a light blue shirt and using a red pushcart, according to cops.
