By Christina Santucci

A 34-year-old man was taken into police custody after a 19-year-old was found with fatal stab wounds inside a Laurelton barber shop Thursday afternoon, the NYPD said.

Officers were called to Select Stylez Barbershop, at 227-14 Merrick Blvd., just before 2 p.m., and emergency responders rushed the wounded teen to Franklin General Hospital in Long Island, where he pronounced dead, according to cops.

Authorities identified the victim as Brookville resident Cal Richardson.

A suspect in the killing was taken into custody at the scene and charges against him were pending Thursday evening, police said.

Saleh Mousa, who works at the Del & Grocery story on the corner of 228th Street and Merrick Boulevard, said he saw two men fighting around 2 p.m. and then one chase the other down the street, out of his view.

“I see the two guys,” Mousa said. “One, I know him. He works in the barber shop.”

Soon afterward police arrived, he said.
