Suspect Sought In Woodhaven Formula Caper

A gun-toting man swiped baby formula from a Woodhaven drug store during a robbery last Friday morning, Mar. 14, police reported.

The suspect in last Friday’s baby formula robbery in Woodhaven.

Law enforcement sources said the theft took place at about 8 a.m. Friday morning at the Rite Aid pharmacy located at 89-10 Jamaica Ave.

Reportedly, the suspect- described as a 6′-tall black male wearing a red shirt and hat and other dark-colored clothing-entered the location and was seen swiping a quantity of baby formula from a shelf.

After placing the formula in a bag, authorities said, he attempted to walk out of the shop, but was confronted by a store employee.

Upon being approached, police noted, the perpetrator displayed a silver firearm, then walked out of the shop and fled on foot.

Officers from the 102nd Precinct responded to the scene.

No immediate arrests were made, and the case was presented to the 102nd Precinct Detective Squad for further investigation, police noted.
