Good Friday Blood Drive In Glendale

On a day where Christians celebrated sacrifice, the Msgr. Sherman Knights of Columbus Post in Glendale held a blood drive on Good Friday, Apr. 18. As noted, over 30 donors came to the group’s Myrtle Avenue post to give the gift of life. Post members also cooked up a fish dinner for those who participated. Among those pictured are Aydee Trimino, assistant director of Elmhurst Hospital Center’s blood donor program; Aurea Salas, Mariya Yatsiv and Marina Avulova of Elmhurst Hospital; and Knights Joe Falce, Frank Falzetta, Vinny Feminella, Don Gander, Gerry O’Callaghan, Jim Sexton and Joe Strohmeier.
