Hundreds of ballplayers marched with their parents and coaches down Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven last Saturday morning, Apr. 12, in the annual Woodhaven-Ozone Park-Richmond Hill-Kew Gardens (WORKS) Little League Opening Day Parade. As noted, the teams headed down Jamaica Avenue after assembling near P.S. 60 off 92nd Street, then turned north onto Forest Parkway and into Forest Park. The parade concluded at the Forest Park Bandshell, where a ceremony was held.
