ADOLPH HEGENBART of Hawley, Pa. died Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at
Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Pa. at the age of 87.
Mr. Hegenbart was born March 26, 1927 in Grafenfeld, Gottschee, and was
the son of the late Adolf and Josephine (nee Krajec) Hegenbart. He was
predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Hegenbart (nee Bendele) in
2004.
In March of 1939, he moved from Gottschee to Ridgewood, Queens. He
served in the U.S. Air Force from 1945 to 1949, earning the rank of sergeant;
and from 1955 to 1990 was a meat cutter by trade.
He loved to hunt, fish and play cards. Adolph was an extremely dedicated
family man and was a member of American Legion, Wilson-Kelch Post 311,
Hawley, Pa.
He is survived by one daughter: Jane Eyring of Hawley, Pa.; one
granddaughter, Kimberely and her husband, Matthew Mongon of Lansdale,
Pa.; two great grandsons, Thomas and Steven Mongon.
AMass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, April 25, at St. Mary
Magdalene RC Church, Church St, Honesdale. Burial was at B.V.M. Queen of

ADELE C. BUZZETTI died on Sunday, April 27, at the age of 73. She was
the beloved sister of Theresa M. Shamroth, loving aunt of Lori and Bill Sang;
Lisa Monteleone; Lynn and Gary Marzo; and Budd and Susan Shamroth;
cherished great-aunt of Amber; Christina and Zack; Frank; John; Mariah and
Chris; Dylan; Dean; Vincenzo; Anna and Angelo; great-great aunt of Emma,
Spencer, Lena Bella and Marli Jade and dear friend of Carol Fehrman; Melanie

NORARIVERS (nee GEE) of Glendale died on Wednesday, April 23, at the
age of 51. She was the beloved mother of Ian, devoted grandmother of Issac,
loving daughter of Edna and George E. Gee, dear sister of George A. Gee and
fond niece ofAda McCarthy and Lorraine Soto. She is also survived by many
nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were offered at Glendale-Maspeth
United Methodist Church, Glendale, by Rev. Dr. Philip Hardt, followed by a
private cremation, under the direction of Schwille Funeral Home, 66-32 Myrtle

ROSARODRIGUEZ of Brooklyn died on Monday, April 21, at the age of 89.
A native of Santiago, Dominican Republic, she was the wife of the late Luis,
devoted mother of Milagros Rodriguez, Ana Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez,
Ramon Rodriguez, Maria Rodriguez, Nydia Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez,
Antonio Rodriguez, Yamonia Rodriguez and Luz Rodriguez and dear sister of
Lucia Rodriguez and Marina Rodriguez. She is also survived by 60
grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was
offered at St. Martin of Tours Church, Bushwick, followed by interment at

JOAN FLAIM of Middle Village died on Wednesday, April 23, at the age of
79. A native of Revo, Italy, she was the dear sister of Thomas J. Flaim and is
survived by three great-nieces and two great-nephews. She was the long-time
proprietor of Jolly Travel Service. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at

LAURADESIMONE died on Saturday, April 26, at the age of 94. She was the
wife of the late Rocco DeSimone, loving mother of Sandra D. Arena and
Thomas DeSimone, mother-in-law of Richard and Eileen, cherished
grandmother of Nicole and Ricky and great-grandmother of Roman, Mya and

Gary Wehnert, a cherished uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and a loving friend to many. Services were offered

TERESA A. SILVANI of Ridgewood died on Monday, April 28, at the age of 92. She was the wife of the late Victor,
devoted mother of Teresa Buffa, Johanna Pasciuto and Joseph and loving mother-in-law of Debbie Silvani and Richard
Pasciuto. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of

Romania, he was the beloved husband of Mariea Baciu, devoted father of Adriana Lipan, Elena Pau, Carmen Turkoanje
and Gabriella Baroumis, loving son of Constantin Manta and Maria and dear brother of Florentina Manta, Mihai
Manta, Mircea Manta, Mitica Manta, Constantin Manta and Ion Manta. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
