Jamaica man sentenced to 14 years for sex assault: DA

SOUTH OZONE PARK — A 26-year-old southeast Queens man was sentenced to 14 years in prison for sexually assaulting two young girls last year, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Lee Samuel, whose last known address was on 174th Street in South Jamaica, was sentenced to 14 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty last month to criminal sex charges, District Attorney Richard Brown said.

In addition to the prison term, Supreme Court Justice Elisa Koenderman gave Samuel 20 years of post-release supervision, the DA said.

Brown said Samuel admitted to inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl one day in May 2013 as she tied her shoes on the sidewalk in South Ozone Park.

Later in the day, he exposed himself to another young girl, grabbed her and engaged in a sexual act, the DA said.
